Abejas anti-minas
Portrait of a woman
There is a woman that has something of God because of the immensity of her love, and much of Angel because of her constant caring.
A woman who being young, has the reflection of an old person, and while aging, works with the vigor of youth
A woman, if ignorant, discovers the secrets of life more accurately than a wise man, and if educated, suits the simplicity of children.
A woman who being poor, is satisfied with those she loves, and being rich, would gladly give her treasures not to suffer the wound of ingratitude.
A woman who being vigorous, shakes with a crying child, and being weak, sometimes is coated with the bravery of a lion.
A woman who is not praised as she should be while living, because beside her all pains are forgotten, but after death would give everything we have to see her again for a moment, to receive a single hug from her, to hear a single accent from her lips.
From that woman do not ask me her name, unless you want me to soak in tears ... I saw that woman on the way. She's my mother!
When your children grow up read this page to them, and they will cover your forehead with kisses. Tell them that a humble traveler left here, for you and for them, a portrait of his mother.

Thank you Carlos for sharing the video above. Here is the story in English: One day Paul met with her friend Laura for coffee and began to tell her about his troubles: work, money, his relationship with his partner, his vocation ... Everything seemed to be wrong in his life. So Laura took from his bag a 500 euro bill and said, "You want this?". Paul, confused, replied: "Of course, who would not want 500 euro?". At the time she took the bill, crumpled it in a little ball, showed it to Paul and asked again: "Do you still want it?". "Yes, they are still 500 euro. If you want to give it to me, of course I want it" replied Paul. Laura unfolded the bill, threw it to the ground and rubbed her foot over it. With the bill all dirty and marked up, she said, "Do you still want it?". "Look, I do not understand where you're going, but until you break it, the bill retains its value," said Paul. Then, Laura concluded: "Although something does not go as you want, though life steps on or wrinkles you, you're still as valuable as ever been. What you should ask is how valuable you are rather than how beaten you're at a particular time. " Laura put the crumpled bill on the table and with a smile said: "Take, keep it to be mindful of this when you feel bad, but you owe me a bill for 500 euro to use it with the next friend in need". Paul looked at the bill, smiled, put it in his pocket and then he felt his energy renewed.

Hamilton Naki, a vital member of the team lead by Christian Barnard, famous for the first heart transplant, was a self-taught surgeon who trained generations of South African surgeons. Christian Barnard said that Naki was “one of the great researchers of all time in the field of transplants”. But his skills couldn't be recognized because apartheid government's laws dictated that black people should not be given medical training or be allowed to have contact with white patients. So he had to work clandestinely. He did it with great delicacy and accuracy, mastering surgical techniques at the highest level and passing them on to young doctors. Even so, by the time Naki retired, in 1991, his official position was only that of a laboratory assistant. He taught surgery for 40 years and he retired with the pension of a gardener, given that his work had never been made public. Finally in 2002, he received the country's highest order, the Order of Mapungubwe, for his years of public service. The following year he received an honorary degree in medicine in recognition of his achievements. “I feel quite happy, very happy”, said Naki at the time. “It's from years of work.” For most of his professional life, he lived in a one-room house without electricity and with no running water. During his retirement Naki collected money for a school in his deprived home province, hoping to provide an education he was never able to afford for his own four children. Despite discrimination, Dr. Hamilton Naki never stopped giving his best: his passion for helping living.

6. No posponga

INSPIRING MUSIC
One of the most important things in life that brings us happiness is the relationship with each one of our beloved ones, either with partner, family or friendship. This is why we are inspired by the song “My Girl”, from The Temptations. The video includes lyrics in
English.
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Ooooh.
No necesito dinero, fama o fortuna.
“Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it”.
Groucho Marx
“People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be”.
