La revista Time eligió al papa Francisco como personaje del año por haber captado tan rápidamente la atención del público, tanto de seguidores como de escépticos, tanto de jóvenes como de mayores. Llama la atención su actitud, la de una persona humilde y a la vez enérgica, que rechaza los abusos, la corrupción, el derroche y la ostentación. Una actitud más humana, más cercana al mundo real y comprometida a hacer los cambios que sean necesarios.

Time magazine elected Pope Francis as person of the year for having captured so much attention so quickly, from faithful and skeptics, from young and old. Calls to attention his attitude, humble and at the same time firm, rejecting abuses, corruption, over spending and ostentation. An attitude that is more human, closer to the real world and committed to make the necessary changes.

Me encantó el blog como siempre. Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con que el Papa Francisco sea declarado el hombre del año. Lo admiro por su sencillez y energía.
